Longer days, last-minute plans, and a calendar that’s finally worth filling. Here’s your curated guide to what’s on in Staffordshire this May — from slow mornings to golden hour drinks and weekends built around good food — and the best of what’s on in Staffordshire May 2026.

A Weekend for Food Lovers

Lichfield Food Festival

16–17 May | Lichfield

A staple in the Staffordshire calendar, and still one worth doing properly.

Expect street food, local producers, and a full afternoon of wandering (and eating) your way through the city.

Go hungry, and don’t plan a quick visit.

A Slow, Social Start to the Weekend

Pilates & Brunch at Eight Pilates Studio

9 May | Stafford

An easy, feel-good way to start your weekend.

A 45-minute mat Pilates class followed by an açai bowl and a drink — equal parts wholesome and social.

MAMMA MIA Bottomless Brunch

BRUNCH, Cheslyn Haye

Friday 22nd May | 7pm-8:30pm

For £38.50 per person, enjoy 1.5 hours of bottomless Prosecco, cocktails, and mocktails, alongside grazing boards designed for sharing.

Set to a soundtrack of Mamma Mia favourites, expect an evening of singing, dancing, and plenty of drinks.

Hosted by Brunch. x Tipples & Tonics, it’s the kind of date that’s made for the group chat.

Flower Workshops

Dates throughout May

A slower way to spend a morning or evening. These hand-tie workshops begin with either a freshly baked pastry and refreshments, or a mini charcuterie board, before a live demonstration from florist Ellie and the chance to create your own arrangement.

Spring sessions run throughout May, with summer workshops to follow in August.
